LAUREN LITTLE
An artist, art lecturer, and independent curator, born in London, England, but lived many years in Calgary, Canada. Her current work centers around revealing and embracing our vulnerabilities and reclaiming them as strengths.
"My current projects explore fragmented portraiture that emphasise both positive and negative spaces. Playing with light and shadow - the visible and the hidden, to convey the “darker side” we all possess—the unspoken struggles, doubts, and vulnerabilities that shape us existing equally alongside our triumphs, courage and successes. Personally, these pieces act as reminders that where there's a dark side, there's always a bright side too."
